About
Adam Snare is an experienced gundog trainer who also shoots, competes in working tests and field trials, and regularly picks up on shoots.
He is a KC Non-Panel Judge and a member of the England Gundog Team (2023–2025). He has represented England at prestigious events including the CLA Game Fair, Blenheim Palace, Scone Palace, and the Skinner’s World Cup. In 2022, he was part of the UK Gundog Team and won the Kennel Club International Test at Capesthorne Hall. The following year, he qualified for his first IGL Championship with Trevear Constantine of MeareCastle. Adam also teaches and has judged across Europe.

His passion for dogs began in childhood and has grown over 25 years of training Labradors, Spaniels, and HPRs for trials, shooting, and deer stalking. Much of his early knowledge came from working with experienced handlers in the field, which shaped his approach and built lifelong friendships.

Driven to refine his methods, Adam sought out top trainers nationwide, many of whom became lasting mentors and influences. Today, he continues to invest in high-level coaching, committed to constant improvement and excellence in both training and competition.

Working & Trialling Gundogs

While regularly working his dogs for his own shooting and picking-up in the field, Adam also competes at the highest level—running alongside and against some of the finest handlers in International gundog competition.
In recent years, while continuing to run his Vizsla and support others through his coaching at the Norfolk & Suffolk HPRFT Club, Adam has focused more intensively on Labradors. This shift has brought notable success, with numerous awards earned in both working tests and field trials.
