Harley - Trevear Constantine of MeareCastle - ran in the England Selection Test at Checkley Wood on Sunday 14th April, against 26 of the top dogs and handlers in the country, all after a place on the team.
After 3 tough tests we were invited with 13 others to the run-off in the afternoon. A long mark across the lake and a blind along it’s length - taken first, Harley did a tidy job as the last but one dog to go.
When the results were read out after the thankyous by team captain David Latham, I was delighted to hear that we had made the team and would be representing England in 2024 at the following events:
Skinners World Cup
Scone Palace
The Game Fair at Blenheim Palace
This is the 2nd time Harley has been selected and is a huge honour. Thank you to the few very generous people who help us and without whom none of this would happen.
Let’s go Harley boy!
